I run a small media company in Southend (Arena Video & Creative Media www.wefilmyou.co.uk). Although I make my living filming corporate videos for companies of all sizes and private functions like weddings, family histories, parties and functiuons etc. I also spend a great deal of my time making films, for me.

I have been planning to make a documentary for some time that uncovers strange and/or innovative uses for peoples garages. (that's garages attached to peoples homes, not service stations).

Do you use your garage for something other than storing all your stuff in or even parking your car? What I am really looking for is the unexpected, a strange hobby or even business use to feature in the finished film. I plan to feature about six garages in total. It can all be filmed so as the locations etc are hidden.

Please note this is initially designed as a personal project that will ultimately be shown around the short film circuits.
