OK, So where are all you happy people who slaved in the h/s and wire welding depts of Lesney Products in the seventies. It wasn`t all bad, and we actually had some laughs.  Come on now, there must be other employees still alive as well as me.   cheers Fred Wren.

Lesney - that rings a bell. Was that something to do with toys - like cars or trains?

Aha - Google says it was Matchbox, so yes!  Smiley

That's it. I had a model red London bus with Lesney stamped on the bottom I think.

Not quite the same ilk, but First Data continue to run a daily staff bus between the old Priory Crescent 'Access/JCCC' site, then into Southend, up the London Road (picking up at Cricketers amongst many places I think), then meandering across to Eastwood, then Rayleigh, then on up to the current Basildon sites. So it does still go on.
