DIGITAL FILM SCANNING AND CD WRITING
from 35mm Colour Transparencies and Negatives, 70mm positive duplicates and 120 medium format colour transparencies and negatives.

Scanned at high resolution and written to CD-R as an uncompressed TIFF file AND a high resolution JPEG file. ( 2000 dpi approx 65mb )
Scanning 'digitising' of film is done to very high technical standards with much attention given to detail. A very high resolution scan is available from 120 and 70mm film ( 4000 dpi approx 280mb )
Service includes 16x multi-pass, Digital ICE processing, level correction and writing to disc.
Maximum image input size is 56mm x 68mm ( 120 6x7 format )

35mm SLIDE PRODUCTION

This is a production service for advertising or caption slides made to your own specifications.
We offer two types of service. The first is a simple text only slide on a plain background, the second is text overlaid
onto a picture background.
Used in cinemas for local 'low budget' advertising, these offer the client a very economical way of advertising 'on screen' without the expense of a motion picture commercial production.
Usually a Carousel slide projector would be used to advertise and promote local businesses ( and messages from the cinema ) before the main adverts, trailers and movie is shown.
Slides are supplied in GePe anti-newton glass mounts that have been cleaned and static discharged. This type of mount is chosen for its protection of film and good consistent focus from slide to slide, The anti-newton glass also prevents 'rainbow' effects being projected ( as with normal flat glass ).
They should never be opened for any reason unless the user has facilities for proper re-cleaning.
Note: All masters are kept on file for future re-production.

Text Only Slides

sketch and the information required, we can then send you a proof image via e-mail for your approval.

Text with Picture Slides

A slightly more involved process, this type of slide will need very careful planning to get the best results. Here, text is used in conjunction with what the background picture looks like.
It needs to be placed within the picture as not to look odd or un-composed as a whole.
You'll need to supply us with a high quality glossy photograph, colour slide or negative.
Please remember, if you're supplying a picture taken by somebody else, you must get their permission
( in writing ) to reproduce it.
