The forum moderators of this site were contacted on 13 Feb 2014 by a representative from DAMTEL Ltd of Soho Square, London regarding this thread, requesting that this message be removed.

The original message author was contacted and given the opportunity to respond. The author confirmed on 14 February 2014 that he did not wish to respond. Accordingly, we have no choice but to remove this message at this time.

Following a formal communication from DAMTEL Limited received today, we have temporarily removed three posts from this forum, pending further information.

We have contacted the authors of each post to request supporting evidence, which will be reviewed on receipt to ascertain whether removal is warranted.

Additionally, we are in discussion with the telecoms regulator Ofcom in the light of information received about DAMTEL Limited, which has been brought to our attention today.

We have asked for additional information and a formal statement from DAMTEL Limited, which we hope to receive shortly. We have also offered a representative from DAMTEL Limited the option to comment in the forum regarding the matter that is under dispute.

We are also aware of ongoing discussions on the Digital Region Community Forum, whose owners are also in receipt of a similar formal email from a representative from DAMTEL Limited.

We hope to be in a position to provide more information on this shortly. Until then, we would ask that anyone who has been affected by this issue to contact the site moderators privately to assist us with this matter, and not to comment publicly in this forum at this time.

We have now received information that appears to confirm that a number of customers lost telephone service formerly provided by DAMTEL Limited in January 2014.

We are in receipt of a statement from DAMTEL Limited, but at this time, we are not in a position to publish the statement due to an apparent ongoing dispute.

DAMTEL Limited requests that anyone wishing to speak them regarding this should email [email protected]

Investigations and correspondence is ongoing at this time. If you have any information that is pertinent to this matter, please contact the forum moderators and refrain from making a public statement in our forum.
