The Victoria Shopping CentreThe Victoria Plaza Shopping Centre is at the top-end of the High Street, with direct access to Southend Victoria train station. Formerly known as the Victoria Circus shopping centre, this is now under cover, has over 40 stores, toilets including baby-changing/feeding and disabled facilities.

Markets in and Around Southend:Farmer's Market: The Southend Farmers Market is held on the 2nd & 4th Saturday of the month on Southend High Street from 9am to 4pm. Free entry. More info at www.essexfarmersmarkets.co.uk. Roots Hall Market: There's also the huge open-air Roots Hall Market on a Thursday, at the football ground (5 minutes drive down Victoria Avenue) |
