I think its a satirical pop at the Lib Dems, who back about 15-20 years ago gave the permission to cut half the trees from the cliffs. In doing so undermined the foundations and caused the slippages.

I also thought the word 'Conserve' was mean't to mean to be carefull, frugal and to save.???

Then how come they keep spending our tax money on consultants and plans of grandure????

Oh actually I know the answer to that............ on a postcard anyone?

A fact that people forget and say it was the Torys!

There was a message on the echo website when the Cuckoo Corner trees got cut down that got a particular protester riled.

"Trees... Without them there would be no Playboy magazine!"

Southend is like Marmite you love it or hate it...

I love both!
