The Cake Decorating Bible

We report on the launch of “The Cake Decorating Bible”, by Juliet Sear, owner of Fancy Nancy on Leigh Broadway.

In September 2012, our team had the tough task of eating some yummy cakes, drinking some champagne, and talking to the lovely Juliet Sear about her new book.

Juliet runs ‘Fancy Nancy’ on Rectory Grove in Leigh, and sells bespoke celebration cakes, cupcakes, cookies and more. Her cake designs have been described as innovate, and to help encourage more people to take up cake decoration, has released her new book.

The book outlines the essentials, with the beginner in mind, explaining decorating jargon, cheats, and how to save your culinary masterpiece, should it under what Juliet calls a cake-tastrophy.

To find out more, take a listen to our short interview with Juliet recorded at her book launch in Leigh.
