Looking for a good feline hotel for when you’re on holiday? The Sarfend office cat spent a week in the company of Katies Cosy Cattery when they opened in 2010, and on his return, he was a very happy pussycat. Each guest room for kitties has a high shelf with views over a garden, and the owner Katie is clearly passionate about cats and their welfare. Take a look around before you book, and you’ll see the high standard of cozy cat care at Wellstead Gardens in Westcliff.

Pop in, drop off your scruffy stuff, and get it back pristine and in a plastic bag. You know what to expect from a Dry Cleaners, so we don’t need to tell you here. What we will say, is Press’tige Dry Cleaners in Leigh-on-Sea has been in business for years, is very reliable and reasonably priced. They also offer a laundry service (we all hate ironing!), can do clothing repairs and they offer a special service where they’ll pick up your curtains, work their magic and drop them back. You’ll find them on Rectory Grove, directly opposite Leigh Post Office.

Dairy Crest can now deliver all sorts of stuff to the door – Sure, there’s the easy stuff like milk, bread and eggs, but how about crisps? Cat food? Garden compost? Dishwasher tablets and backing foil? Now you can order online before 9pm and get items on your doorstep in the morning. Delivery is free, and you pay monthly by direct debit or credit card.
